Modern Bathroom Refurbishment – Weetwood, Leeds

During this project in Weetwood, Leeds we undertook a complete bathroom restoration. We fitted a luxurious modern bathroom complete with double sink, jacuzzi bath and walk in shower.

The large rectangular tiles elongate the room and make it appear far more spacious than it is while the contrast between the dark grey and white tiles creates a contemporary look. The rectangular shape of wall tiles is complemented by the pattern on the bath panel, bathroom cabinet and sinks. The rectangular pattern of the bathroom furniture cleverly hides storage space beneath the twin sinks, creating much needed storage for towels or bathroom essentials.

We fitted both of the sinks, the luxurious jacuzzi bath and the large and spacious walk-in shower, all of which have a modern design to complement the contemporary design of the overall room. This theme is carried over to the individual fittings such as the chrome heated towel rack.

When fitting the wall tiles we also had to specifically cut the tiles to line the sunken window frames, within which we also fixed new blinds as part of the finishing touches of the room.

Landscaping, Extension and Bathroom– Leeds

Internal and External Home Renovation – Moortown, Leeds ATT_1443961049279_20150823_114909

This project in Moortown, Leeds had many factors. As well as building a full extension to the rear of the building, we added a porch, fitted a new bathroom and landscaped the exterior spaces. The finished product left the house considerably larger, also benefitting from a much more modern exterior.

The extension to the rear of the property was created using materials that were very similar in appearance to the original materials of the house. This creates continuity in the design and doesn’t leave the house looking mismatched. We used similar brickwork and roof tiles to achieve this effect. The extension benefits from large windows and French doors opening onto the garden, creating a bright, airy and spacious interior. The new front porch complements the extension at the back of the house and leaves the house looking sleek and modern. We hung the new front door, which also has frosted windows running vertically alongside to give the porch some natural light. The addition of an outside light and hanging basket bracket completes the classic look.bathroom-silver

The new extension and porch are complemented by the addition of brand new paving that runs around the exterior of the house. We used a range of landscaping skills at this Moortown property including the laying of new turf in the back garden. The new paving provides a continuous pathway around the property, altering the outside space into one large garden area.

In addition to the new extension, porch and external landscaping, we also redesigned a bathroom for this property. The bathroom was completely redecorated with a new, sleek design that incorporated modern touches into a classic tiled bathroom. We outfitted the bathroom with rectangular travertine tiles that complemented the matching, lighter floor tiles and lined up perfectly with the horizontal decoration on the bathroom mirror. We added strips of mirrored tile and a contemporary radiator to give the whole room a modern touch.

Kitchen and Bathroom Fitting – York

On this home renovation project in York, we fitted two bathrooms and the kitchen.

As well as fitting the bathroom appliances we did a lot of bespoke joinery work to achieve the look and layout the customer wanted. We built the structure for the shelving units which you can see in the first picture which were then tiled to match the rest of the bathroom. We also installed the door frames and hung the doors in the bathrooms.

The bathrooms were finished to a high standard using large travertine tiles. As you can see from the images a great deal of precise work was need to cut the tiles down so that they neatly fitted the areas around the bath and the bespoke shelving units we had built.

Our carpentry skills were also used on the kitchen in this house where we fitted the top and bottom kitchen units. More tiling was done on the splashback area between the top and bottom units to complete the look of the kitchen.

York Bathroom bespoke joinery

This shelving unit was a bespoke joinery job. We built the shelved from timber first and then tiled them to fit in with the rest of the bathroom.

York Bathroom Fitting and travertine tiling

The customer specified the use of high quality travertine tiles in their new bathroom. As these were relatively large tiles some careful cutting and shaping was needed to fit them around the bath.
