Our Landscaping Services – Global Supreme Services

At Global Supreme Services, as well as providing a full range of construction services, we also provide expert landscaping.  Many people do not realise that as well as refurbishing your kitchen, constructing an extension or installing new flooring we can also provide amazing landscaping techniques that will make the exterior of your home match the beautiful interior.

We have created many beautiful landscaping additions to a variety of homes – these include laying patios, building retaining walls, and creating gravel driveways and garden paths. Here you can see a small example of the landscaping projects that we have undertaken in Leeds and the surrounding areas. Often, many of our customers undertake  landscaping services to augment a new extension or to complete their home renovation but we also often undertake landscaping as standalone jobs as well. As well as residential properties we also take on landscaping challenges for businesses and commercial properties .

We specialise in the hardscaping element of landscaping. This means that we create all of the ‘hard’ or man-made elements of your garden landscape. This includes paving, gravel, driveways, walls or paths. Often these are the elements which shape your landscape as a whole and will give your garden the character that you want. Expert landscaping can give your home added elegance and sophistication and frame your property in such a way that it appears to have a much ‘cleaner’ and ‘put together’ look.

Retaining Wall and Landscaping Project in Moortown, Leeds

pathwayWe recently travelled to Moortown, Leeds to work on an external project. At this site we rebuilt an existing retaining garden wall and landscaped the front garden.

A retaining wall is a structure that holds or retains soil behind it. These are commonly used in landscaping projects to add depth or layers to a garden, in this case in Moortown, the retaining wall is used to contain a steeply sloping garden from the street below. The original retaining wall for this property was very old and crumbling and in danger of collapsing. This would not have only been potentially dangerous for anyone walking on the adjoining street but could have also damaged the structural integrity of the house perched on the land above.

We used the foundations of the original retaining wall, which were still structurally sound, as a base from which to create the new structure. We chose brickwork that was very similar in design and colour to that of the original to give a seamless finish and to also match the brickwork of the property itself. The wall is then topped with black and gold iron railings to give a modern look.

At this property we also did some small amounts of landscaping in the front garden. As well as installing a garden gate that matched the new retaining wall, we reworked the path leading to the front of the house. The path now has a gravel finish that gives the garden a more natural look and complements the surrounding flowerbeds.

Landscaping, Extension and Bathroom– Leeds

Internal and External Home Renovation – Moortown, Leeds ATT_1443961049279_20150823_114909

This project in Moortown, Leeds had many factors. As well as building a full extension to the rear of the building, we added a porch, fitted a new bathroom and landscaped the exterior spaces. The finished product left the house considerably larger, also benefitting from a much more modern exterior.

The extension to the rear of the property was created using materials that were very similar in appearance to the original materials of the house. This creates continuity in the design and doesn’t leave the house looking mismatched. We used similar brickwork and roof tiles to achieve this effect. The extension benefits from large windows and French doors opening onto the garden, creating a bright, airy and spacious interior. The new front porch complements the extension at the back of the house and leaves the house looking sleek and modern. We hung the new front door, which also has frosted windows running vertically alongside to give the porch some natural light. The addition of an outside light and hanging basket bracket completes the classic look.bathroom-silver

The new extension and porch are complemented by the addition of brand new paving that runs around the exterior of the house. We used a range of landscaping skills at this Moortown property including the laying of new turf in the back garden. The new paving provides a continuous pathway around the property, altering the outside space into one large garden area.

In addition to the new extension, porch and external landscaping, we also redesigned a bathroom for this property. The bathroom was completely redecorated with a new, sleek design that incorporated modern touches into a classic tiled bathroom. We outfitted the bathroom with rectangular travertine tiles that complemented the matching, lighter floor tiles and lined up perfectly with the horizontal decoration on the bathroom mirror. We added strips of mirrored tile and a contemporary radiator to give the whole room a modern touch.

Landscaping Project – Halton, Leeds

This project was done for a commercial client in the Halton area of Leeds. The client  wanted the entrance to their bar and function room area remodelling. We worked with a designer to create a smart new look for the bar’s customers. We did the extensive paving work leading to the front entrance, including paving the steps. As this was being done we installed the steel lighting columns which discretely light the pathway and built the walls which guide visitors to the entrance. In order to create the best possible impression for the bar we also re-glazed the entrance area. The finished project gives the  visitors a much better first impression at the start of their night out.
